Privacy Policy

Elytic is suggested for users aged 17 and above. If you are under the age suggested for your region you should use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian where required by applicable law. Some features, including the Elytic AI assistant, require you to be at least 18 years old.

We may collect information that you provide directly such as your name, username, email address, profile information, and content you voluntarily share publicly within the service. We may also collect usage and technical data automatically such as device identifiers, app usage logs, IP address, crash reports, and diagnostic information used to operate and improve Elytic. If you make purchases or use virtual currency, we and our payment processors also process transaction records such as purchase history, virtual-currency (Elytic Coins) balances, and subscription status; we do not store full payment-card details. We also collect basic gameplay information, such as games played and their results, to operate multiplayer features.

Private messages and direct messages are not viewed or monitored by Elytic in the normal course of business. We do not use private message content for advertising, and we do not sell it. We may analyze message content, including in aggregated or de-identified form, to operate, secure, and improve Elytic and to understand how its features are used.

Access to private messages may occur only when strictly required by applicable law or to comply with a valid legal process.

The one exception is Elytic AI. When you choose to message our AI assistant — through the dedicated AI chat or by mentioning @ElyticAI in a room — the text of that message is sent to our AI provider, Google, to generate a reply, as described in the 'Artificial Intelligence (Elytic AI)' section below. Ordinary private messages between users are never sent to the AI.

We use your information to provide, operate, and improve Elytic; communicate with you; maintain safety and security; prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations.

We share only the information that is necessary with trusted service providers who help us operate Elytic — including authentication, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, notifications, advertising, payment processing, and artificial-intelligence features. These may include Google (including the Gemini API that powers Elytic AI, and Google AdMob for advertising), Apple, Meta, Unity Ads, and our subscription-management provider, depending on the features you use. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We may also share information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Elytic, users, or others.

Elytic offers an optional AI assistant, Elytic AI, powered by Google's Gemini API. Use of Elytic AI is voluntary, is gated behind an in-app consent screen, and is intended for users aged 18 and older. When you send a message to Elytic AI — through the dedicated AI chat or by mentioning @ElyticAI in a room — the content of that message is transmitted to Google to generate a response. We attempt to remove obvious personal identifiers before forwarding, and we ask that you not share personal information with the assistant.

AI messages are processed to provide the feature, to apply automated safety filtering, and to prevent abuse. They are not used to show you advertising and are not sold. Limited AI interaction data may be retained to enforce our safety rules, such as limits on repeated violations. You can reset or delete your AI chat history at any time and can disable the feature. AI responses are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive, and should not be relied on for medical, legal, financial, or other professional advice. Google's processing of data submitted to its AI services is governed by Google's applicable terms.

Additional data sharing beyond what is necessary for core functionality happens only if you give consent. Where available, this can be enabled or disabled at any time in your in-app settings. Your choice applies going forward from the time you change it.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or misuse. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, but we work to safeguard data proportional to its sensitivity.

We retain personal data only for as long as it is needed for the purposes described in this Policy or as required by law.

If you request deletion of your account or data we generally process the request within up to 7 days. Certain data may be retained in secure backup or archival systems for up to 30 days only where necessary to comply with law, prevent fraud, or resolve disputes — after which it is permanently deleted or anonymized.

Depending on your location you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal data. You can exercise many of these controls directly in app settings or by contacting us.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from users below the age at which parental consent is legally required. If you believe that a minor has provided personal data to us without required consent please contact us and we will address the issue including deletion where appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version becomes effective when posted unless otherwise stated. Continued use of Elytic after changes means you acknowledge the updated Policy.
